The Documentary
The evening opens with the screening of a short documentary by Evren Maner. It follows the project from its beginnings, through the interviews, research and conversations that shaped it, to the months of training and creation that brought the performance to life.
The Performance
Afterwards, the ensemble presents an original contemporary circus performance created through the collective process. Drawing on themes of common ancestry, belonging, separation, resilience, hope and coexistence, it brings together mask theatre, drum ritual, dance, aerial arts, hair hanging, clowning and juggling.
Presented in the buffer zone, the line that divides the island, the performance turns a space of separation into a place where we can meet.
